I opened an online store and I am really happy about it ❤

It’s still very new and very small and I connected to my fb page. For the moment only my handmade watercolor inserts for Traveler Notebooks in Regular size are avalaible but there are a lot more to come 🙂

Art journal 1-10-14 in pen and watercolor & homemade leather pen holder

 

After almost 10 days I am here again..
So many days without painting made me depressed.
Today I finally had a little bit of time for myself and of course I took out
my journal and my watercolors to express my welcome to the Autumn
but it seems to me that the long time without painting can be seen in the page..

Maybe it’s just my impression but I think 10 days ago I could made it better.
Doesn’t matter, at least I painted and a little smile appeared on my face ❤

Here it is…

I also had the pleasure to play with some velvety leather I have
and I made a double pen holder for my Traveler Notebook..
I have some more leather remained to make 2 or 3 more pen holders
and if someone is interested I can make and give them
at 6 Euro each + worldwide shipping (5 Euro).

Watercolor notebooks / sketchbooks with painted cover

I am glad I almost finished with the paper testing
for the watercolor notebooks I am going to make..
and thanks to Barbara and Denise, two lovely ladies ❤ who will help me
trying two more kinds of paper, I’ll finish even earlier..

The problem I had in my mind last days was how to make
horizontal notebooks so that they could be inserted in the TN..
So I invented a tray with an integrated elastic which gives me
the possibility to carry the watercolor notebook
in my TN and to paint it in or out of my TN.
I’ll send this tray to Barbara and Denise with their watercolor notebooks
to see if it really suits at this purpose..

Let me show you the two notebooks with deckle edges made by me,
with the cover painted by me in pen and watercolor
and the system with the tray attached to my TN 🙂

Art journal – cup of coffee – painting in pen and watercolor

Today I woke up at 6 from a very bad dream..
One of those dreams that leave you sad and empty and with a terrible headache..
So I took an aspirin, made my coffee and decided to froze time at that very moment
everyone else was sleeping and peaceful silence was all around me..
When I finished, my mind was clear, my headache had passed and the dream was forgotten..

Art journaling – pen & watercolor

Hi again.. I am testing some watercolor-books I have bought days ago..
and I am really in trouble at this moment cause as you can see I have now
4 art journals in use… The problem is I don’t know what to choose..
The best paper is for sure the one I used for my Faedori (Midori TN)
but I also love my beautiful Moleskine sketchbook and I like the A5 and A4 size too
although as you can see the A4 paper has some problems with water ..

So now let me show my two new entries in the A4 (first) and in the A5 (second) notebooks

took by a lovely lady called Michelle Davies..

I asked her of course if I could try to reproduce in
in watercolor and she very gently said yes..
I wrote also her name on the top left of the page

So this was the object of my today Art journaling

Actually I made this yesterday but it was
after midnight so it’s ok..

As you can see
I reached the middle of my notebook..
and I took 2 photos.. So that you can see
how it looks with and without the Faedori elastic…
